A Firefox add-on that allows you to post urls and images to Twitter. Social Whale Extension is a very simple extension that can help you post urls and images to Twitter. Social Whale Extension is offering twt.gs url shortening service and twitpic image posting service.After installation you will see social whale’s logo in the right bottom of your Firefox browser.The only thing you have to do before starting using the extension is adding your Twitter credentials by right clicking the logo, and selecting the “account settings” tab.You can shorten the active tab’s url by left clicking the social whale logo. Alternatively you can right click the logo and select “short url” or “short url with alias” if you want a custom alias for your shorten url.To upload an image to twitpic right click the logo and then select “upload photo”.The generated URL will be put on the clipboard so you can paste it to your Twitter client or anywhere else you need it.
