SingingCA - Cellular-automata-based engine for easily generating random MIDI music SingingCA is a free and open sourcecellular-automata-based engine for easily generating random MIDI music.The program evolves a 1-D, two state cellular automata (currently: in the next future to be expanded to more dimensions, and to more than 2 states per cell). Optional output is the .png image of the CA as it evolves, and a MIDI file where the music is generated from the CA itself. Users can choose a variety of parameters, among which the MIDI instrument, the amplitude of the musical scale to use, and so on (future work will include more than one voice in the MIDI file).
