Safari extension that enables you to shorten URLs by using the Bit.ly shortener Short URL adds a button to your toolbar and a keyboard shortcut (Alt + s) to your browser, so that you can easily shorten the current opened URL. If you do not see the shortening button you can right click the toolbar and choose the customize option to drag it in.
