Camino script that checks if the current tab is in your bookmark collection and allows you to add it and enter a description if not Set Bookmark Description is a free and easy to use script will check to see if the page in Camino's current tab has been bookmarked and if so, allow you to enter some text for the bookmark's description field. Why do your bookmarks need descriptions? Well, they probably don't. But this is a handy way to store snippets of text you might want to remember the next time you visit the bookmarked site, or text you might want to find again, as the description field is searchable in Camino's Bookmark Manager (and will be searchable in Spotlight in a forthcoming release of Camino). When you run the script, the bookmark's existing description will appear in the dialog box, allowing you to change it or copy it to the clipboard. As an added convenience, if a bookmark doesn't already have a description any text selected on the page will appear in the dialog box instead. Installation: Unzip and move the script file(s) to the path ~/Library/Scripts/Applications/Camino/ where the tilde (~) represents your home folder, creating any subfolders that don't already exist. The script will appear under a "Camino Scripts" heading in your system-wide Script menu when Camino is the frontmost application.NOTE: The Set Bookmark Description script cannot account for redirects: if the bookmark URL is not exactly the same as the URL you end up on when visiting it, the script will not recognize that page as having been bookmarked. Requirements: · Camino 2.0 or later
