Detects message duplicates in Mail Select Duplicate Messages is a free and simple to use AppleScript for quickly finding Mail message duplicates. Select Duplicate Messages detects duplicates based on message-id header, confirms messages are the same by comparing bodies or full source (or only size if message is too large for AppleScript to reliably handle) and selects them.When the Select Duplicate Messages script is run, you will be presented with a window which will ask you to check you have the right folders and mailboxes selected and that 'Organize By Thread' is switched off (it can't select messages it can't see). Then you decide whether you want to compare message bodies or full messages including the headers.Installation: Copy the file "Select Duplicate Messages.scpt" to ~/Library/Scripts/Mail Scripts/ (the ~ means you home folder). You can now run the script by selecting it from under Mail Scripts in the Script Menu, which will be in the menu bar somewhere on the right.How to enable the Script menu:1. Launch /Applications/AppleScript/AppleScript Utility.2. Check the 'Show Script menu in menu bar' if it's not already checked.3. Quit AppleScript Utility.
