SWFShot Description

Adobe AIR plug-in that helps you create high resolution snapshots SWFShot is a utility to allow you to take large high resolution snapshots of your JPG, PNG and SWF content. SWFShot is pretty simple really. Once you've read these instructions, view the "File and Info" tab to get started. From there, you can browse for a file. Now that the file is selected and you are ready to capture images from your media file, click the "Load Media" button to load it behind the application as fullscreen panel-less, windowless preview. The SWFShot plugin allows you to play any movie with SWF content. You can then use the "SWF Controller" tab to start and resume playback, navigate the main timeline of the movie (if there is one) and in general, if the movie is set up to allow it, control it a little bit. If there is ActionScript in the loaded media that prevents it, these controls might not work so hot. If the media is a still image, you can proceed to the next step. The settngs tab allows you to create custom output options for your shot, such as final file output format (JPG and PNG only at this time), DPI, dimensions, image quality, image scaling, image smoothing, and even a slight amount of blur can be used to treat the image for output. Blur is included to counter Bitmap artifacts that could arise from the JPEG compression. If you are happy with your options, please continue to the output tab. From there, you may name your masterpiece and then choose to create a snapshot of the animation or asset currently playing behind the UI (minus the UI, of course!).This could take a while depending on option chosen in the settings tab. After the snapshot is created, you can save your creation to your local filesystem. Enjoy! SWFShot was made for a pretty specific purpose, to get around the 2880 pixel size limit imposed by the Flash player.SWFShot does have a upper ceiling though. You won't be able to create a shot larger than 8192x8192 or one that is over 256MB.Requirements:? Adobe AIR Requirements: · Adobe AIR
