SRGP-X Description

SRGP-X - Raster graphics library SRGP-X is a port of Brown University's Simple Raster Graphics Package (SRGP) to Carbon, one of the APIs used by the Classic Macintosh system software and Mac OS X. It allows programs written using the SRGP API to run natively under Mac OS X.SRGP-X also fixes several problems that were in the original Macintosh version of SRGP. The screen should now refresh correctly if the SRGP window is moved from the background to the foreground (in Mac OS X only), and the graphics will display correctly if the screen's depth is larger than 8 bits. However, pixmaps are still not supported.What's New in This Release:· Fixed several type mismatches.· Fixed a bug that was causing pattern corruption, which in turn was causing the screen to appear garbled.· Fixed a bug that caused colors to not display correctly in color depths larger than 8 bits. This bug was also causing the screen to appear as black.· Changed the SRGP resources so that, if there is a fatal error, SRGP now makes reference to MacsBug and the Mac OS X Crash Logger instead of the THINK C debugger.· Added an about box.· The Quit menu item is no longer in the SRGP menu if the program is being run under Mac OS X.· SRGP applications now understand the Quit Apple event.Requirements:· Metrowerks CodeWarrior Pro 6.0 or greater or· Mac OS X Developer Tools.
