SLEDRIDE Description

Visually display and analyze microarray expression data SLEDRIDE is a tool that provides the ability to visually display and analyze microarray expression data in a variety of ways. With SLEDRIDE, it is possible to perform multi-experiment, genome-wide microarray studies and examine the correlation coefficients calculated from the dataset. SLEDRIDE also makes it possible to view your data in genome order, which provides a very effective method for identifying areas in a genome acting concordantly. SLEDRIDE does this by encoding correlation into varying shades of red and green, with the highest intensity of each color representing high correlation (similarity) and anti-correlation (dissimilarity), respectively.SLEDRIDE will use colors close to black to indicate areas which are neither similar nor dissimilar (i.e., a null, or weak relationship).
