SING Gaiji for InDesign Description

Japanese InDesign typography plug-in. Adobe's SING architecture answers a requirement of "gaiji" for Japanese, Chinese, and Korean typography. The term "gaiji" is a Japanese word meaning "supplemental glyph" or "supplemental character."In this context, it means: Any character or glyph that is valid in your written language, but is not in the font you are using. The SING architecture provides a way for users to extend their fonts with individual new "glyphlets," representing variant glyph shapes, or symbols. These glyphlets are embedded in documents and can be used for editing at other points in the workflow. This download is a Technology Preview of the SING gaiji technology, to allow customers and developers to begin to evaluate the SING architecture. It extends Adobe InDesign CS_J and provides some glyphlets for the Adobe Kozuka Mincho typeface family as well as a Glyphlet Management Tool. Requirements: · Adobe InDesign
