SETI Control Description

SETI Control is a REALbasic application which allows you to control the Darwin (Unix) version of setiathome-BOINC in Mac OS X. SETI Control is a REALbasic application which allows you to control the Darwin (Unix) version of setiathome-BOINC in Mac OS X. This new version of SETI Control is incompatible with the current version of setiathome, which will soon be discontinued.SETI Control now implements commonly used BOINC options, so there is usually no need to use OS X's Terminal application. The included file "SETI Control desc" gives detailed instructions for obtaining and setting up the BOINC version of setiathome so that SETI Control can do its job.What's New in This Release:· adds the option of using Preferences to enable or disable the automatic startup of the BOINC client when SETI Control starts. It's disabled as the default. I inadvertently included my Account ID in SCpreferences.txt. Make sure that you change it to your Account ID.
