Free Java ray tracer Raja is a free and open source ray tracer created in Java. Raja builds a complete and modern Ray-Tracer using the Java language. NOTE:The whole source code is under LGPL and GPL terms. Requirements: · Java 1.4 or later · Java Advanced Imaging codecs What's New in This Release: · A Basic but uniform Image I/O framework has been implemented, Improvements in Command Line User UI: · Ability to chose the codec, · Check that the image shall be saved successfully before rendering, · More verbose modes. · Class World replaces the old Scene class. A scene is now a world with a camera. The example scene files have been cleaned and updated accordingly.
