PyCDDB Description

A free development tool to access CDDB servers from Python PyCDDB is a free tool that will allow Python developers to access a CDDB server and get information about discs like: artist, disc-title, track titles and more.PyCDDB requires a disc-ID, which is generated from the track starting positions.Communication to the CDDB server takes place via a http-connection. For this reason, the computer must be connected to the internet in some way, when making queries. Default CDDB server is http://freedb.freedb.org but the name of the used server can be chosen by the client application. What's New in This Release: · Problems with long disc titles solved.
