Powernet Description

Command-line utility for maintaining multiple Internet connections Powernet is a free and open source bash script that will help you maintain multiple Internet connections. Currently, Powernet works only with wireless connections but can simply be modified to be used for both wireless and wired links.Powernet configures interfaces, sets routes and gateways so the Internet connection is load balanced between those connections. Should one of the link fail, powernet will try to repair it and will disable the link in case of failure so the Internet connection will not suffer.
