Java tool to get images from Virtual Observatories PocketVO is a free and simple, easy-to-use, interactive tool to get images from Virtual Observatories.PocketVO was created specifically for untrained users, including students, amateur astronomers and researchers new to VO-enabled astronomy. PocketVO transparently access information from different services (name resolvers, image cutout services, etc.) in an unified interface.PocketVO's graphical user interface allow users to open windows to see specific regions in the sky. Windows can show one, two or three different wavelengths at the same time, so users can easily see an object using visible image and using X-Ray images, for example. Regions can be entered directly in right ascension, declination coordinates or by entering an object's name.
