Pngnq Description

Free and open source tool for quantizing PNG images in RGBA format Pngnq quantizes a 32-bit RGBA PNG image to an 8 bit RGBA palette PNG using the neuquant algorithm. The neuquant algorithm uses a neural network to optimise the color map selection. The algorithm is fast and quite accurate, and delivers good results on many types of images.NOTE: Pngnq is licensed and distributed under the terms of the BSD License. What's New in This Release: · Finally got around to creating a chaneglog. · Fixed bug in pngnq.c where attempts to process directories were made. Had to add , hope this doesn't break on Win. Cleaned up some other error messages. · Started support for background color and text in rwpng.h
