PlaintextPaste - Simple SparkPlugin that adds a Paste Plain Text item to the Edit menu of all Cocoa applications PlaintextPaste is a simple SparkPlugin that adds a "Paste Plain Text" item to the Edit menu of all Cocoa applications. Normally the Paste menu item will preserve all colors, styles, fonts and formatting of so-called "rich text." However, sometimes, you don't want all this formatting, especially when copying text from the web. Thus, "Paste Plain Text." PlaintextPaste also introduces three new items: Paste 7-bit ASCII, Copy Plain Text, and Swap Selection With Clipboard, as well as enabling the Special Characters item again (when an InputManager, including SparkPlug or SIMBL is installed, this item is remYou can control which items are enabled or disable with the SparkPlug pane in System Preferences.Installation: Installing PlaintextPaste is pretty easy. Just run the installer program provided in the zip file. A file called "PlaintextPaste.bundle" will be installed in your /Library/SparkPlugins folder, and SparkPlug itself is installed in /Library/InputManagers and /Library/PreferencePanes. Your applications will be left untouched, so if you ever have problems with PlaintextPaste, uninstalling it is as easy as deleting the files mentioned above.Uninstall: To uninstall PlaintextPaste, open the installer (if you saved it) and click the uninstall button, or simply delete /Library/SparkPlugins/PlaintextPaste.bundle and optionally the entire /Library/InputManagers/SparkPlug directory.Known Issues:· Will CRASH a Jaguar system. DO NOT install on earlier than 10.3 systems!· Crashes OmniWeb and TextMate (though you can disable PlaintextPaste in these applications using the SparkPlug pane in System Preferences)
