PhysMo interactively demonstrates the fundamental principles of motion. PhysMo is a free (open source) alternative to the commercially-available video motion analysis programs. It boasts most - if not all - of the competitors' features, without the prohibitive price-tag. PhysMo is therefore perfect for physics teachers and students.PhysMo performs frame-by-frame motion analysis of video, and can very easily be to real-world distances. 'Object displacement against time' (m/sec) data may be exported into Microsoft Excel, enabling calculation of acceleration and velocity. Appropriate for use at home and in the classroom, PhysMo interactively demonstrates the fundamental principles of motion.
