Pbalbum Description

Free and open source Perl bash album pbalbum is an easy way to get your photos online once you have an Apache up and running. It consists of 2 scripts, mkthumb(written in bash) and album.pl(written in Perl).First one (mkthumb) will make a thumbnails for your photo directory so when your pictures are loaded in gallery mode (many thumbnails of pictures) it will not eat all your bandwith by showing real(big) pictures and resizing them to look as small but will actually create a small copies of them therefore preserving bandwith.Second one (album.pl) is the script that will actually show stuff at your website. Design is very simple and you can alter it to much your style.Configuration instructions can be found in the README file inside the archive. Requirements: · Perl · Apache
