PSP VintageWarmer 2 Description

A high-quality digital simulation of an analog-style but also a single- or multi-band compressor offered as a plug-in AudioUnit, VST and RTAS PSP VintageWarmer2 combines rich and warm analog processing with a straightforward user interface and, in addition, it comes with a comprehensive library of presets. The plug-in processor is highly flexible and can be used for both softknee compression and brick-wall limiting. This makes it an essential tool for mixing and mastering engineers. Careful attention has been paid to PSP Vintage Warmer's overload characteristics with the processor being capable of generating saturation effects typical of analog tape recorders. PSP Vintage Warmer also incorporates professional VU and PPM metering together with accurate overload indicators thereby assuring professional quality results.PSP VintageWarmer2 installer contains two versions of the plug-in:· PSP VintageWarmer (LE) which is a direct descendant of the original PSP VintageWarmer with its all strengths such as low resource usage and latency· PSP VintageWarmer2, the main addition being the FAT double sampling mode for even more analog sounding processing. Requirements: · Intel Mac or PowerPC G4 or G5 · 512 MB RAM · AudioUnit, VST or RTAS compatible host application · ProTools TDM/LE 7.3 or later for running RTAS What's New in This Release: New features: · Mono-Stereo switch expanded to Mono-Stereo-Left-Righ selector. Now it is possible to choose only one channel for processing. · Controller and automation support for ProTools users improved. Changes: · Latency improvement - PSP VintageWarmer has 127 samples of latency. · Latency improvement - PSP VintageWarmer2 has 639 samples of latency now. · Meters in VU mode has improved needle movement response according to VU specifications. · Front panel name of the PSP VintageWarmer2 was changed from PSP VintageWarmer to PSP VintageWarmer · Front panel name of the PSP VintageWarmer was changed from PSP VintageWarmer LE to PSP VintageWarmer. In the case of the manual latency compensation please reset your delays to adequate values. · The Meter delay knob on the rear panel is not present in this version. · Tow VU/PPM and Scale range parameters have new - more adequate names now. MeterScale changed to MeterType (VU/PPM) and MeterRange changed to MeterScale.
