PSITest - Measure a subjects psychic abilities PSITest attempts to measure a subjects psychic abilities via a series of three tests.What is the PSI Test? Simply put it is a test to see how many times you can correctly guess, or perhaps foresee, randomly selected items such as numbers and words.Test 1: This is the Precognitive or "PreCog" test. In this test you will be asked to enter a number in a box. Once you do this and click next the computer will generate a random number between 1 and 100. This test is designed to test your ability to see what will happen.Test 2: This is the postcognitive or "PostCog". In this test a number between 1 and 100 is generated and then you are to enter you number in the box provided. This test is designed to measure your ability to see what has happened.Test 3: This is the Random word test. It is similar to test two in that the word is randomly selected before you are asked to enter your word. This test however is simply included to raise the difficulty level and lower the number of "Lucky Guesses".This test is not scientifically controlled and it is possible that individual results might have been tampered with. Your results may or may not reflect accurate measurements.Though this version of the application is not suitable for clinical use a clinical version is under development and will be available later in 2006.The results of the test will not be made public until 2006 considering this version of the PSI Test is only supposed to gather information.Why so many questions? Mostly it is to get the most accurate and easiest to measure results. The more questions you are asked, the less likely that chance will favor you.During the test you will not see whether or not you have guessed correctly. Simply enough, this is so that you do not become discouraged and give up.You are not required to submit the results, however if you do, please do so only once. You must complete the test to submit results. This test will take you a long time, please be patient stick with it. Also please do not let a low score keep you from submitting your results. It is important for the overall results, that as many submissions are made as possible.Make note of your control number, available from the first screen you see when you start the application or by going to the PSI Test menu and choosing the View Control Number option. You can use this number to view your results, and once they are available online, the results of other users of the application.The existence of this test does not represent a belief on the part of any one affiliated with FOR neXtSoft in the paranormal. It is simply an experiment in and area of interest where there seems to be nothing else like it.No effort will be made to rate any one taking this test as psychic or not. Current expectations for the test are Non-Psychics scoring between about 1 and 3 percent. And psychics scoring between about 6 and 9 percent in each category and 1 to 1.5 percent overall or 6 to 7 percent for Non-Psychics and psychics respectively.Possible issues with the test. Experiments have been done which suggest that a person hoping for or focusing on a machine doing a random task in a specific way might effect the result of that random task. Secondly, hacking, cracking or other tampering. There are always people looking for ways to cause problems, and it could be possible for one of them to do something that somehow effects the outcome of individual tests or the overall results.
