PCRE Plugin Description

Provides REALbasic developers with direct access to PCRE (the Perl Compatible Regular Expressions library) PCRE Plugin gives direct access to PCRE (the Perl Compatible Regular Expressions library) from REALbasic. PCRE Plugin is actually the same library used by REALbasic anyway, but the plugin allows access to some advanced features such as "anchored mode", and can allow for better performance. The plugin functions do not currently work well with Unicode characters in strings, however.PCRE Plugin is built for Mac OS Carbon and Windows, there are no classic, mach-o or linux versions at present.PCRE Plugin does not attempt to provide access to all of the functionality in the PCRE library, however it should be easy to modify the plugin to add extra functions which map to additional facilities in the PCRE code.For more information about the workings of the PCRE library, read the documentation for PCRE itself, which you can find in "PCRE Plugin Project/pcre-5.0/doc/html".
