OraSRP Description

A free tool to deploy and analyze SQL trace files for DBAs and developers OraSRP is an open source Python based tool intended to create Session Resource Profile by processing of extended SQL trace (a.k.a. 10046 event) files. After analyzing of session trace file OraSRP will display the following statistics:· Response Time Components Summary (Session Profile)· Top 5 Statements per Component· Statements Recursive Relationship· SQL Statements StatisticsIf your Oracle server works in Shared Server (former MTS) configuration then trace data from one session will be written into several files.OraSRP can run in two modes: standalone and as http server listening on 2502 port (which is the default mode). In standalone mode it prints results to stdout either in html (default) or text format. Here are some key features of "OraSRP": · publish trace files for access via a web browsers · process sql trace files (see event 10046 and/or DBMS_MONITOR for more info on how to activate sql tracing) · advanced analysis of sql trace files (more advanced than tkprof, for example) Requirements: · Python 2.3 or later
