OpenTouch Description

Open source framework for multi-modal input devices OpenTouch is a solution for multi-modal application development. The goal of the OpenTouch software project is to create an open source framework that will be able to handle and process input from multi-modal devices such as multitouch screens based on FTIR. OpenTouch should allow for multiple point, gestural interfaces, and a non-programming approach to gesture prototyping.The OpenTouch platform aims to be a layer between the input device and the final GUI application. OpenTouch is designed to be cross-platform with support for internal and external applications as simple application gateway, blob tracking, gesture recognition and much more.
