Free and open source programming language The Objeck computer language is an object-oriented computing language that has ties with Java, C# and Pascal. In this language, all data types are treated as objects. The programming language contains all of the "very basic" features of a general-purpose programming language. The language consists of a compiler and virtual machine with garbage collector. The compiler emits binary code that is executed by the runtime system. The virtual machine and the compiler are written in C++ and should run on OS X, Linux, x86 Solaris and Windows (XP/Vista). The primary development environments are OS X and Linux. NOTE: Objeck is licensed and distributed under the terms of the BSD License.
