Allows you to easily create barcodes. OCR fonts are used for several purposes where automated systems need a standard character shape defined to properly read text without the use of barcodes. Some examples of OCR font implementations include bank checks, passports, serial labels and postal mail. IDAutomation's OCR Font Advantage Package includes OCR fonts in several formats that support all of these implementations. Here are some key features of "OCR Font Advantage Package": · Enables printing of text that may be easily read with OCR scanning equipment. · TrueType, OpenType, PCL laserjet soft fonts and PostScript fonts are included. · Compatible with Microsoft Windows, Pocket PC, Macintosh, Unix and Linux. · Multiple sizes (I, III and IV) of each font are provided for various applications. · Supports OCR A, OCR B, USPS Mail, OCR-B1 Euro banking and OCR-A1 Euro banking specifications. · The included OCR fonts also provide the Euro symbol. · The OCR A font was created from ANSI INCITS 17-1981 (R2002) (formerly ANSI X3.17-1981 R2000) and is compatible with IS0 1073/I. · The OCR B font characters were created from ANSI INCITS 49-1975 (R2002) (formerly ANSI X3.49-1975 R2000) and is compatible with IS0 R 1073 and ECMA-11. · IDAutomation also provides OCR Font Readers, which may easily read machine readable fonts OCR A and OCR B. Limitations: · Does not contain the number 6 in addition to letters c, C, t and T and should be used solely for testing purposes.
