NewzHog Description
Newsgroup file downloader. NewzHog IS NOT a news reader. It is used for downloading files from newsgroups via nzb NewzBin files. NewzHog will automatically decode yEnc files and should also correctly decode MIME files. NOTE: There are a number of known issues with the application, so please visit the product information page for more information regarding this subject. Here are some key features of "NewzHog": · Easy interface. · Support for multiple servers. · Support for multiple streams. · Auto de-codes yEnc encoded files. Limitations: · Registration Reminder. · You can't load multiple nzb files. · You can only download 20 items from a nzb file. · You can't configure more than one news server. What's New in This Release: Bug Fixes: · Multiple download streams should no longer fail. · Significant memory management improvements have been made. · An issues that could have resulted in file corruption has been corrected. · The application is now built in universal format and should function on PPC and Intel normally. · The communication system has been completely rewritten and should clear up an issue that caused connection failures. This should also fix an issue that caused downloads to loose connection and hang. · The amount of logging can now be set in the general preferences, ranging from nothing but critial errors to Debug level logging.
