Easily create new documents from Finder. Neu is a simple application that makes it easier to create new documents in the Finder, without you having to open an application first.Neu does this by adding a "Create Document..." command to the menu that the Finder shows when you right-click on something. Alternatively, Neu also allows you to use a special key combination.Choosing the menu or pressing the key combination activates Neu and presents you with a list of template files to choose from. Once you've chosen a template, Neu creates a copy of it, brings the Finder to the front, and selects the new file.Neu comes with some pre-defined templates, but you can add your own, so you can customise the types of new file available to suit your needs. It can make a blank text file, an empty letter, a shopping list, or anything else that you want. What's New in This Release: · Added "Protect from accidental Quit" option which changes the Quit menu shortcut to Cmd-Shift-Q instead of Cmd-Q. This makes it harder to accidentally quit Neu. · Added submenus to the "Create Document…" and "Create and Open Document…", so that you can now directly select the template to create. · Added the the "Create Document…" and "Create and Open Document…" menus to the Dock menu and the status menu, so that you can also create items using them.
