A free Java text and program editor Nambis Editor is a free and easy to use, simple text and program editor written in Java. Nambis Editor has built in basic editing functions including including drag and drop, undo and redo as well as find and replace. With configuration files the editor can be extended to build and run programs written in different programming languages and adapted to various programming environments. Nambis Editor implements all usual features of a text editor for file handling and editing including drag and drop, undo and redo as well as find and replace.The title of the editor window shows the name of the document. If it is a new document with a not yet defined name, this field is empty. A star behind the document name indicates that the document has been changed.Below the title, the main menu includes all functionality for the file handling, editing the document and calling external programs defined in the configuration file.The button bar below the main menu provides quick access to main functions of the file handling menu and the external programs defined in the configuration file.The document can be manipulated in the text field. For long documents, the text field has a vertical and/or a horizontal slider bar for navigation. The appearance of the text field can be configured in the configuration file. Requirements: · Java
