Move over one-trick movie-in-movie ponies. Multiple Movies plug-in lets you place as many pictures, animations, or movies into your clip, and then animates their position and size dynamically. You may then define a frame thickness, frame color, lead-in time, exit time, and pre-view the result in real-time!For even measure we also have added the ability to automagically adjust the imported movie's play-back speed to match the time-slot that you have allotted it. Individually, of course. optionally while preserving the original clip's proportions.Oh, and did we mention that you can define a transparency value for each movie? Well, you can. Multiple Movies is the one-stop, never-stop-again movie composition plug-in.Use this plug-in whenever you want to assemble multiple pictures/movies (be it one or one hundred) over your clip. use it for· documentaries· video-walls'· collages· movie-in-movie montages, showing parallel activities, static pictures· split-screens· other animations that require multiple simultaneous movies and picturesHere are some key features of "Multiple Movies":· compatible with most movie formats (DV, mov, AVI, )· allows import of pictures and animated pictures (GIF)· support for an unlimited number of movies per clip· independent (per movie) transparency settings· independently animate movie's position and size· independently specify lead-in and exit times for each picture· easy graphic editor for position and size of picture· preview clip while editing· optional frame for movies with user-selectable frame color· user-defined frame size (individually)· HD compatibilityadd button: · pressing this button adds another begin/end pair of rectangles, thus enabling you to define another picture or movie. note that when you press 'add' you will initially only see the blue 'start frame', since the end frame is directly beneath it.del button: · this button is only available if you have two or more movies/pictures defined. pressing this button will delete the currently selected blue/green rectangles and associated picture.next button: · pressing this button will select the next pair of start/end frames (blue/green rectangles) in the list. if you have reached the last pair in the list, the list will loop back to the first in list.blue rectangle: · this rectangle (also called "start frame") defines the movie / picture's starting position and size in the clip (i.e. the picture's position and size when it first appears in the clip). to move the rectangle, click inside and drag. to resize, click and drag the handles.green rectangle: · this rectangle (also called "end frame") defines the movie/picture's ending position and size in the clip (i.e. the position and size it assumes before it disappears from the clip). to move the rectangle, click inside and drag. to resize, click and drag the handles. initially, this rectangle will not be visible because it is obscured by the red start frame.· to switch between rectangles either use the 'Modify' pop-up, or click outside the currently active (the one with handles) and inside the other rectangle.modify pop-up:· this menu allows you to switch between the start and end rectangle (you can also switch directly by clicking into the desired rectangle).grey rectangles:· if you have more than one movie/picture defined, only one pair of red/green frames can be active at any one time. all other frames will be displayed as grey outlines. to directly switch to an inactive frame, simply click outside both red and green frames and inside the desired grey frame. alternatively, you can use the 'previous' and 'next' buttons to select the frame you want. note that when you click on a grey frame, both currently active frames (red and green) become inactive, and both inactive frames (red and green) become active.time IN:· this setting applies only to the currently active frame set. with this you define (in percent of the clip's total length) how long (from the start of the clip) the plug-in should wait until displaying (and animating) the movie/picture.time OUT: · this setting applies only to the currently active frame set. with this you define (in percent of the clip's total length) how long before the end of the clip the plug should stop displaying the movie/picture.frame:· this slider allows you to set the frame's size. it only applies to the current frame. when set to zero (far left), there will be no frame.movie: · click this button to choose a movie or picture from your disk. any format that quicktime supports can be opened: mov, DV, AVI. this also includes pictures (jpg, pict, gif, bmp, ...) and even animations (animated gif). if your gif supports transparency, this will be applied as well.keep prop's: · if you choose this option, the picture's frame will always re-adjust it's size to preserve the original picture's size. note that you can switch this independently for red and green and independently again for any frame set.· same length checkbox· if this checkbox is set, the currently active movie will be sped up/slowed down to fit exactly into the time frame that you allocated for the movie. the time-IN and time-OUT sliders are taken into account.frame color: · if you want the movie/picture to be framed, here's where you choose the movie/picture's frame colorpreview picture button: · this checkbox is purely for interface purposes. Instead of working with frames, you can opt to show the currently active picture inside the active frame. note that the picture is only shown inside the currently active frame of the currently active frame pair. this is intentional to allow you to better position your pictures.opacity:· this controls the opacity of your movies / pictures. it controls each frame's transparency. note that two overlapping frames will have their opacities (not their transparencies) added.Requirements:· iMovie
