Meta Monkey Description

Open source lightweight metadata manager for your Mac Meta Monkey is still in early development, but it is already very useable. Meta Monkey began as a way to store and edit keywords, comments and ratings for the photos.Meta Monkey integrates with QuickLook and the Finder to easily select, view and edit multiple files.Attributes are stored in the filesystem with the xattr library, in the namespace "user.tk.gfxmonk.MetaMonkey". Upon editing, the keywords, rating and comment for a file are saved to the "Spotlight Comments" field, which allows spotlight indexing. Requirements:· Python xattr libraryNOTE: Meta Monkey is licensed and distributed under the terms of the Apache License.
