Free and open source CMake built module LuaDist is a distribution of the Lua programming language. While Lua is mostly used as an embedded language it can be used as standalone interpreter. For this purpose we provide an execution environment, package management and configuration of Lua that can be used to develop and distribute multi-platform software products.Currently LuaDist was tested on Mac OS X 10.4.10, Cygwin on Windows XP and Gentoo Linux 2007.0. Most other *nix based platforms should work.NOTE: LuaDist is released under the MIT License. What's New in This Release: · Added documentation · Cleared and documented code. · Stabilized API for 1.0 release. · Added pcall based failure prevention. · Errors now include system command output when sys.execute fails. · Added more CMake INSTALL_ variables. · Work started on package test routine that can be executed before package deployment.
