Script for quickly open a file you regularly use from a server LoginAndOpenFile is a free script which will allow you to quickly log into an AFP share from the Finder, resize the window it opens in, and then select a file from that window and open it.You will need to provide data for the AFP share, the app and the filepath for it to be of any use. At present these are all 'dummy' values, so don't expect it to do anything as is. Once configured is a quick and easy way to open a file you need frequent access to over a network.To be able to use the LoginAndOpenFile script you'll have to change:· your share name and the IP of your Apple Server· your login and pass· the path to the document and the application name you want to open itLaunch AppleScript Editor (Applications > Utilities) and go File > Open.Installation: Copy the script to your Library>Scripts folder. Enable the Apple ScriptMenu system and you can run it from the menu bar whenever needed.WARNING: Save 'real' versions as non-editable applications for security.
