Liblouis Description

An open source Braille translation and back-translation library Liblouis is an open-source Braille translator and back-translator based on the translation routines in the BRLTTY screenreader for Linux. Liblouis has, however, gone far beyond these routines. Liblouis is named in honor of Louis Braille. On Mac OS X and Linux it is a shared library, and in Windows it is a DLL.
