Free and open source Java text editor for your Mac Lexi is a platform-independent and free word processor, based on the Java 2 platform. Lexi is currently in ALPHA, but it has some basic functionality that you can try out. Requirements: · Java 1.4.2 or later What's New in This Release: · This release fixes critical bugs that prevented Lexi version 0.1.1 from starting. · It also fixes a number of bugs in the user interface and in the handling of configuration properties. · The FontChooser and UserOptions dialogs have been overhauled and given Ok / Cancel buttons that behave properly. · The Registry API and implementation have been reworked so that initialization of an empty registry occurs at one place in the code. · The codebase has been reformatted to a consistent coding standard, and restructured to get rid of overly large classes and replace cut-and-paste coding.
