LabanWriter Description

LabanWriter - Software for students of dance. LabanWriter is a software program that permits dance to be copied, edited and stored on a computer. It utilizes the symbols for Labanotation, a movement language devised by Rudolph Laban in the 1920's to record dance on paper. The application features more than 700 symbols that stand for parts of the body, direction, levels, and types of movement and the durations of each action. What's New in This Release: · Adding ".lw" to any file will now turn it into a LabanWriter score. · Selecting symbols with the arrow tool while holding down the command key will now select all symbols (including staves and floorplans) · Added support for non-roman text · Improved rotated text to accept multiple styles · Space at the top and bottom of a staff can now be changed separately · Added support for superscript and subscript for text · New symbols: meandering path, larger carets, uplift, buoyant, weighty and heavy, as well as LMA symbols for arc-like and spoke-like. · Limited the selection of circles and spirals to their lines, to make it easier to select symbols in the same area · Fixed bug when saving scores at 200% · Numerous other bug fixes
