Kritton Description

Very compact and efficient web server with support for CGI scripts and Virtual Hosts Kritton is a web server written in C for UNIX systems. Initial focuses were in performance and stability. Today Kritton focuses more on being a practical, easy to set up, stable and fast web server. While it is true that Kritton may never reach the level of Apache in terms of features, it has grown to be a fully operating web server with a number of features, with exceptional performance in terms of speed. Kritton comes configured for several hundred of mime types. Kritton is rather secure, boasting chrooting abilities (and of course, does not run as root). Resource drain will be minimal and the web server will run on even the slowest systems.
