A free vector graphics application for LaTeX users Jpgfdraw is a free Java based vector graphics application that can be run on any system that has the Java virtual machine installed.You can use Jpgfdraw to:· Construct shapes using lines, moves (gaps) and cubic Bézier segments.· Edit shapes by changing the defining control points.· Text can be added to annotate the image: · Alternative text can be specified when exporting the image to a LaTeX file. · Fonts used by Jpgfdraw can be mapped to LaTeX font declarations. · Links to bitmaps can be added: · An alternative path can be specified when exporting the image to a LaTeX file. · Compute the parameters for TeX's parshape command and for the shapepar command defined in Donald Arseneau's shapepar package.· Construct frames for use with the flowfram package. Pictures can be saved in Jpgfdraw's native jdr (binary) or ajr (ascii) formats, and can be exported as:· a file containing a pgfpicture environment for inclusion in a LaTeX document· a LaTeX2e package based on the flowfram package· a PNG raster graphics image· an encapsulated PostScript (EPS) image· a scalable vector graphics (SVG) image Jpgfdraw is also supplied with the following applications:· jdrview - a jdr/ajr viewer· jdrutils - a suite of command line converters which include: · jdr2ajr - a jdr to ajr command line converter · ajr2jdr - an ajr to jdr command line converter · jdr2tex - a jdr to tex command line converter · jdr2svg - a jdr to svg command line converter · jdr2eps - a jdr to eps command line converter · jdr2png - a jdr to png command line converter · eps2jdr - a eps to jdr command line converter (still highly experimental) Requirements: · Java 1.5 or later
