Java framework to provide an explanation of the inference process JEFF is a free and open source Java explanation facility framework that can be used with other Java-based (business) rule engines, expert systems and expert system shells in order to provide an explanation of the inference process. Requirements: · Java What's New in This Release: · A LOT of typos have been corrected (some even refer to method names). · A STRATEGIC context has been added in the ExplanationChunk class. This also means that some new methods for this context were introduced into the JEFFWizard class. · The InternationalizationManager class is no longer a Singleton. · A lot of methods in the JEFFWizard class have been renamed in order to provide shorter names i.e.: "addTextExplanationChunk" has been renamed to "addText". · Some of the methods in JEFFWizard for producing reports (generate###Report) now have typed streams as parameters instead of Object refences. · JEFFWizard has been internally optimized in order not to use two builder instances but one. · Some explanation builders have been renamed: DataChunkBuilder to DefaultDataChunk Builder, ImageChunkBuilder to DefaultImageChunkBuilder and TextChunkBuilder to DefaultTextChunkBuilder. · Now there is an option to add a title to the explanation.
