J2EP Description

Open source Java-based reverse proxy running on a J2EE engine J2EP is a reverse proxy running in Tomcat or any other J2EE container. The J2EP proxy should be interesting for anyone that might want an open source reverse proxy for a Java container. Another good choice for a reverse proxy is mod_proxy for Apache, however this requires that you have Apache running so J2EP might be more useful if you are already using a Java server. What's New in This Release: · Added check of the Via header so that cyclic requests aren't allowed. Cyclic requests are requests from the proxy that are returning to the proxy once again, creating a never ending loop. · More proofreading of the manual and on some parts a bit of rewriting. All in all the manual should be easier to read and contain fewer spelling errors.
