Haxial Calculator Description

Haxial Calculator - An advanced calculator that evaluates complex expressions to practically any level of accuracy. Haxial Calculator is an advanced calculator that can evaluate complex expressions to practically any level of accuracy that you desire. With Haxial Calculator, instead of tediously clicking on little buttons, you can freely type a formula using the keyboard. For example, you can type a formula such as this into Haxial Calculator:84 / (12 + (45 - 3.2)) * 1.24 Then press return, and Haxial Calculator interprets and evaluates the text you entered, and displays the answer. This free-form text editing of mathematical expressions is far superior to the tedious button-clicking of a hand-held calculator, or a calculator program that mimicks a hand-held calculator.Main features of Haxial Calculator:High PrecisionHaxial Calculator does not use CPU floating-points. Many other calculators are severely limited in precision because they use CPU floating-points. Haxial Calculator is designed from scratch and it uses a powerful engine that is capable of practically unlimited precision.Controlled PrecisionWhen results are displayed in normal or scientific notation you can specify exactly how many digits you want the result to be accurate to. The number digits is practically unlimited, or to be precise a maximum setting of 1 million fractional digits.Radix support other than Radix 10 (Decimal)No longer are you limited to using the Decimal system. You may select any radix from radix 2 (binary) to radix 36.Radix converterIf you need to convert numbers to different radixes, this is the utility to do it. Convert a number to any radix from 2 to 36.Unit ConverterHaxial Calculator will convert almost anything you might need, kilobits to kilobytes, miles to kilometers and much more.Text ConverterThis utility allows you to convert different text formats such as Hex (UTF8) and Unicode.FinanceAssistants to provide some insight into how various factors influence loans and investments.Variables and ConstantsFull support for using custom variables. Constants Pi and E are generated up to the maximum accuracy of Haxial Calculator (1000000 digits).Simple yet powerful interfacesSimplicity is everything when it doesn't limit functionality. In addition to the standard interface you may choose to switch to "tiny interface" for a simple compact workspace. If at any time this interface is inadequate, you may switch back to the standard interface instantly with a simple key combination.Haxial Calculator Worksheet (.hcw)A great alternative to the standard Haxial Calculator interface is using a Haxial Calculator Worksheet. A HCW is best used for multiple lined expressions and more complicated calculations. If you have work in progress, you can simply save the HCW to file for a later date. If you wish to demonstrate a problem to a co-worker, student or colleague this is also a great way to do so in an efficient manner.Supports fractionsFractional mathematics is natively supported.Supports exponentsExponents are natively supported.Customized error messagesHaxial calculator features custom (easy to read) error messages that let you know of any syntax or general errors that can occur during a calculation.Functions and operationsUnlike calculators that are based on cpu floating-point numbers, all functions in Haxial Calculator have to be custom made from scratch so they can support high precision results in different radixes. Currently Haxial Calculator supports the following:+ Add- SubtractNegate* Multiply/ Divide^ Power! Factorial= AssignBit/Binary ANDBit/Binary ORBit/Binary XORBit/Binary NANDBit/Binary NORBit/Binary XNORSquare RootCube RootNatural LogarithmLogarithm to any baseExponentialSineCosineTangentCosecantSecantCotangentHyperbolic SineHyperbolic CosineHyperbolic TangentHyperbolic CosecantHyperbolic SecantHyperbolic CotangentAbsolute ValueFloorCeilingModulusQuotient Bit/Binary NotBit/Binary Shift LeftBit/Binary Shift RightBit/Binary Rotate LeftBit/Binary Rotate RightAppearanceThe appearance of the user interface is highly customizable. Supports "skins" / "schemes".Multiple Platform SupportHaxial Calculator is not limited to a single platform. Multiple platforms are supported and all platforms have the same unified graphical user interface and behavior to the user. This does not come at a cost to performance unlike applications written using java. See the following System Requirements for a list of supported platforms. What's New in This Release: Added Finance Utility. Currently includes Loan and Investment tools. Added Text Converter Utility. Converts between different text formats such as Hex (UTF8) and Unicode. Added Bit Operators: band (Bit And) bor (Bit Or) bxor (Bit Xor) bnand (Bit Nand) bnor (Bit Nor) Added Bit Functions: bnot(input, bitLength) Bit Not bshl(input, noOfBitsToShift, *bitLength) Bit Shift Left bshr(input, noOfBitsToShift) Bit Shift Right brotl(input, noOfBitsToRotate, bitLength) Bit Rotate Left brotr(input, noOfBitsToRotate, bitLength) Bit Rotate Right Auto-convert and display results to common radixes (binary, octal, decimal, hexadecimal) by holding down the shift key in addition to pressing enter/return when evaluating expressions Added a Quick Launch Button Bar to the main calculator window. Quick reference has been updated to "Help" New rule, spaces are no longer allowed in numbers. for example, "10 000" is not allowed Changed cmd/ctrl T to open the Text Converter and cmd/ctrl M will now switch between tiny and full modes Added Stone to weight conversions Upgraded to Unicode. Note this means Calculator will not run on older systems not supporting unicode such as MS Windows 95/98/ME. Additions to documentation Misc Bug fixes
