Free and open source utility used to create variations on a sound Genesynth is a Mac OS X GUI tool which can create variations on a sound. To make it sound more fancy, it is an noise band-based genetic algorithm analysis synthesis framework. Right now the GUI only provides analysis and direct resynthesis. Model transformation is currently only available in the command line tool and C++ API, but will be added to the GUI shortly.Genesynth will provide you with audio analysis/resynthesis the way Darwin would have done it if he were only into computer music.Using a genetic algorithm to evolve a sinusoidal/noise based sound model, create variations as the audio chromosome of a sound's family tree progresses.
