A Firefox add-on that enhances your browsing on GameFaq message boards GameFOX is a Firefox extension designed to optimize the navigation and the search of the GameFAQs forum. Here are some key features of "GameFOX": · Message numbering · A QuickPost form on topic/message list pages for instant posting · Post highlighting/hiding: hightlight or hide topics and messages made by users of your choice · Allows you to customize your signatures. · Theme changing: change your site display settings from standard to classic to whatever CSS you choose instantly without re-logging/restarting · Message Quoting: double-click on a message or its header to quote immediately. Also accessible via the context menu · Topic Tagging: really tag your favorite topics for easier reference · QuickWhois: quickly retrieve information about posters on message lists by double-clicking on message headers · GameFOX Sidebar: utilizes your Firefox sidebar and contains all kind of links, forms, and tags for faster browsing · Goto lastpage, topic pagination, and topic tagging, all by double-clicking on topic rows · Immediate posting without having to go throught the preview screen · Changing the window title to reflect the board title/topic title · And more! · All of the options are customizable Requirements: · Firefox 3.0 to 3.6.* What's New in This Release: · GameFOX can now change the date formats on GameFAQs. There are several presets for different locales (including 24 hour time and DD/MM/YYYY and YYYY-MM-DD dates), and a custom setting that lets you change the format to anything. · The GameFAQs clock has been improved, with support for a custom date format. It can be enabled by checking Tools | GameFOX | Main | Page | Add clock. · Two new GameFAQs themes have been added: SpotFAQs and 8for11. You can view their descriptions and enable them from the Style options (Tools | GameFOX | Style). · Firefox 2 compatibility has been removed. Only Firefox 3 and newer are supported. · The toolbar icons for the GameFOX options and sidebar are now different from each other. · Favorites in the GameFOX sidebar are now in a list box instead of a drop down menu. · Drop Firefox 2 compatibility · Custom date formats · New CSS: SpotFAQs · Improve the GameFAQs clock and add it to the options window · New CSS: 8for11 · Different icons for the sidebar and options toolbar buttons · Replace the favorites drop down menu in the sidebar with a list box · Add "Show Category List" board setting · Remove inline code tags (block level code is still there)
