Frusdl Description

Open source wafer-thin low level SDL bindings for Ruby using FFI Frusdl is a wafer-thin, low level wrapper for Ruby of SDL, and it's auxilliary libraries SGE, SDL_gfx, SDL_image, SDL_ttf, SDL_mixer, using FFI. Because Frusdl uses FFI, it should be portable between JRuby, MRI, and Rubinius. The goal is general source level compatibility with Ruby/SDL version 2.0.1, but with additional low level functionality available. The highest priority is to bring Frusdl to the point where 2D games can be programmed with it effiently. Therefore, Ruby/SDL's Japanese langage support has a lower priority.NOTE: Frusdl is licensed and distributed under the terms of the zlib/libpng License. What's New in This Release: · First release of Frusdl. Unpack, enter the lib subdirectory, and run ruby frusdl.rb.
