Framer Description

Framer is a free Mac OS X desktop application designed to create prototypes for interaction and animation on the desktop and mobile platforms. Framer is a Photoshop dependent tool for graphic designers that aims to provide an efficient alternative to Flash, Keynote or Quartz Composer. The role of Framer is to swiftly export assets and set up projects in Photoshop using an accelerated engine based on CSS keyframes for high frame rates. Moreover, Framer is capable of animating any view in 3D featuring bezier curves and spring physics. As for the platform support, it does a great job on the desktop, tablet and mobile. The main user interface of Framer is minimal and only displays the Photoshop document you want to process, the Run button and a progress bar. The application is based on the idea that, in order to build and text complex interactions, one only needs a few factors such as events, animations and images.
