Free and open source fractal application for your Mac FractalJ is an application intended to supplement a high school or college course in Chaotic Dynamical Systems. FractalJ is written in Java to provide compatibility with all the major operating systems including Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.FractalJ provides fractals, complete bifurcation diagrams, orbit diagrams, iterated function systems as well as the Mandelbrot and Julia.The modular design allows for easy expandability of additional features and modules. For instance, in its current release eight of the most common functions are provided. You can easily add new functions by implementing a new class that adheres to the rules of the interface. What's New in This Release: · IFS fractals are now drawn in a thread. The will continue to draw until the user hits the stop button on the toolbar.
