FlashControl Description

Google Chrome extension that lets you disable the Flash elements from the current webpage FlashControl displays a small red icon in the address bar if the extension has effect on the current webpage. To see the whole menu click on this red icon and choose the option that you need.To understand its role, here is a short explanation: FlashControl is a content-filtering extension which blocks Adobe flash players and prevents them from loading flash content. FlashControl replaces flash players with a control panel, each of which has buttons that allow you to turn the flash player on and off, and toggle its visibility. There iss also a Filter Manager available to help manage your favorite and not-so-favorite flash objects.Using the omnibox popup, you can load and unload flash players from a webpage you are viewing, set FlashControl to automatically block or unblock flash players from an entire website, disable FlashControl's functionality altogether, and activate your personal preferences page.Note: FlashControl does not infringe on your privacy because it does not access your personal data or browsing history.
