FixIcons Description
Applescript application that restarts the Finder Sometimes icons of files, folders, and mounted volumes do not display correctly in Finder windows. Either the incorrect icons are displayed, or certain icons appear distorted. These problems are often transient, and restarting the Finder usually corrects the problem. Typing a command in the Terminal application will restart the Finder, however....For those who would prefer not to type commands in the Terminal this Applescript application will restart the Finder. Normally such an operation shouldn't take more than a few moments, and once the desktop reappears, the file, folder and volume icons should display as they normally do.
