FakeSMTPServer Description

Program that generates and forwards all email to a single mail address FakeSMTPServer is a free and open source solution for testing web-based products that require a "unique" email address. Instead of being a "real" SMTP server, FakeSMTPServer forwards all email to a single email address, or can output them to the console instead.Testing sites that require individualized emails can be a drag. If you have your own email server, you need to create lots of emails. If you don't you have to think of great new names on Hotmail. What if you didn't have to create fake emails? FakeSMTPServer implements a standard SMTP Server with one difference. Instead of delivering the email to the real address, it goes no further than the console window.NOTE: FakeSMTPServer is licensed and distributed under the terms of the Mozilla Public License 1.1 (MPL 1.1) Requirements: · Java 1.6 or later What's New in This Release: · A new GUI makes it easy to examine headers and messages. · A maven repository makes it easy to add FakeSMTPServer as a dependency when you use it for unit tests in Maven. · A new FAQ on the web page may answer some questions.
