Automator based tool for converting Quicktime media to iPod ready videos Export Movies to iTunes is a free and Automator based Finder plug-in that will allow you to quickly convert Quicktime-readable media files into iPod-readable videos. InstallationThe included script automatically handles installation of the script. If you would like to do it manually, you need to move the workflow (Export selected movies to iTunes.workflow) into ~/Library/Workflows/Applications/Finder/ (create these folders as needed.)UsageSelect some movie files, right click on one of them, and select the workflow from the Automator menu. Quicktime Player will open each movie, export it to an iPod-friendly video format, import it into your iTunes Library (and Videos playlist), and play it for you. Next time you sync your video-capable iPod, your movies will be viewable on the iPod! Requirements: · iTunes (version 5+ to import videos, and version 6+ to transfer to video-capable iPods) · QuickTime Player (or Pro) 7.03 or later
