A lightweight 2D render farm El Zoido Render Farm is a free and open source Java enterprise application that provides controlling system and submitting clients for 2D renders. El Zoido covers remote rendering from Apple Shake, Adobe After Effects and The Foundry Nuke.Installation instructions:Server Installation:· Download glassfish application server· Unpack, set and start it (/bin/asadmin start-domain)· Configure via http://localhost:4848 - Log In (user admin password admindmin) - Set orb-listener-1 address to your server ip address: Configuration -> ORB -> IIOP Listeners -> orb-listener-1 - Restart server· Start database (/bin/asadmin start-database· Deploy resources (ElZoidoResources.xml) - Run this command from command line - asadmin add-resources ElZoidoResources.xml· Deploy ElZoido10alpha5.ear - Applications -> Enterprise Applications - Click Deploy - Choose ElZoido10alpha5.ear - Set Application Name to: ElZoido - Enable the Java Web Start· It's done - Server is now accessible through http://:8080/WebClientClient Installation:· Start this command from terminal: javaws http://:8080/ElZoido/MachineDaemon· Your client machine is prepared for render Requirements: · Java · GlassFish What's New in This Release: · Redline support bug fixes.
